DIS will be happy to provide a licence to use its operating software to driving schools in any part of the world. However, any International licence would need to exclude the Telephone reception service because our English speaking call centre staff are unlikely to be able to represent the interests of a foreign licensee. However, all the other core service benefits will be operative.

The licensee’s own staff will use the Internet to access their enquiry and booking screens. This will be hosted free by DIS on its secure servers. Upgrades and amendments can therefore be quickly and efficiently implemented, without conflict errors that can occur on some PC based systems and also avoids driving schools having to buy expensive server hardware and additional ancillary software.

The Personal website will be structured by DIS to promote the licensee’s own driving school and their pupils will enjoy the same online access and interactivity as all DIS subscribers. Alternatively, the licensees own website can be configured to offer this facility. The licensee’s instructors will also be able to use the Handheld software to upload data directly via mobile phone or Palm PDA into to their own Online office.

Each International licence will be negotiated individually to reflect the requirements of the potential licensee and the market in which they operate. A fee may be required to cover the cost of language conversion or to provide bespoke requirements and an exclusive territory can be assigned.
