Multi users

A “multi-user” option is usually suitable where two or more driving instructors work together under the same trade name, particularly where the owner of the business is one of those instructors. It is also appropriate where their calls are taken at home by family members or on mobile phones and is ideal for smaller partnerships or co-operatives that cannot afford to pay full-time staff or office overheads.

A “primary user” will be responsible for paying a single subscription for the number of multi-users they want to register. After diverting calls, the DIS Telephone reception will use data to allocate new bookings, amend or cancel lessons and deal with most of the day-to-day business for each of the registered users. This provides a great personal support package for all instructors.

All the DIS core support services will be available to every multi-user, so each instructor can log on to their own Online office and enjoy access to their own Accounts & Records. They will be entitled to use the Handheld software or can otherwise manually transfer data from their paper diary at the end of the working day, whilst all pupils will be able to access their details via the Instructor's Personal website.

Multi-user instructors can cover different areas and can even charge different prices in those areas. This allows a great degree of individuality and flexibility that is often required where perhaps an informal agreement exists between instructors. The primary user will have an overview of all the users’ records and can amend or transfer pupils between them, but their own records will not be accessible or available to others.
